2. Weave in ends on mitered baby blanket and figure out the edge triangles. About 1/2 done with the ends, didn't work on the triangles
Not much to report. Class stuff after the cut. Class tonight was tiny - only eight of us. Four black belts and four colored belts, and I was the lowest belt there. Ma'am worked with me during most of the formwork time. Instead of doing the regular repetition of the forms and 1-steps, though, she had me do some drills to work on deepening my stances, some blocking and punching drills to work on my hand motions, and "sparred" me with the 1-steps. She showed me how to measure up for the 1-step sparring and it was a little weird getting used to actually having a partner. I blew through the brown board again tonight - I might ask for yet a harder board next time. We haven't done the self-defense much lately, so I hope we hit those again soon. I'm trying to decide if I can make it on Wednesday or not. Probably not - I'm really supposed to be sitting in one of my interns' final dress, and I've already arranged to have a phone meeting with John during Tuesday evening's rehearsal. Then I'm going back down to LA for the rest of the week on Thursday. I'm going to try to hit the gym and go running as much as possible this week. Next week, I should be able to go both Monday and Wednesday, and I'd like to go watch sparring again next Thursday. After that, my summer schedule starts up and it gets crazy again, but only for a couple weeks.
I got some of the ends woven in on the baby blanket, but didn't work on the triangles at all. I have a couple of ideas to try, though. I did do two full repeats on the Monkey socks...and realized something. They don't fit. Or rather, I CAN get them over my heel, but just barely. I'm just following the pattern right now, which is weird, because the number of stitches called for in the pattern is what I would normally cast on for this weight yarn on these needles, and it is supposed to be a stretchy pattern. Mrph.

Urgh! I hate it when that happens. I think my rpm socks are going to be for my daughter. :(
Your list looks better than mine. I don't seem to ever cross much off!
It's me again! I tagged you with a meme. Stop over at my blog and see if you'd like to play along. :)
